What a lucky person I was, when one of the best conductors Thomas Hengelbrock, asked me to participate in a new production of "Il Re pastore" for the Salzburger Festspiele. Our cast was the best of female voices we have at the moment, like Annette Dasch and marvellous Marlis Petersen, so that every rehearsal was a present for me.

During the rehearsal time I did a workshop about theatre and barock gestures for young people. It was organized by the famous Balthasar-Neumann-Ensemble.

We had a lot of fun, although this pictures shows me so "strict"!

I worked many years with the Balthasar-Neumann-Ensemble and I never ever felt more gratitude, emotion and happiness in listening to this great musicians! I can recommend to everybody who is sick of the mainstream classic radio sound to buy each single record they have produced! It´really an incredible interpretation of all this wonderful pieces of music they have found in the past of our culture!
